To ensure the smooth flows of import-export cargo through SP-ITC International Container Terminal as well as District 9, District 2 of HCM city, ITC will focus the 02 following projects:
1) Continue to invest the second phase as approved plan.
2) Be ready for expanding Nguyen Duy Trinh Street Project right after officially receiving approval decision from the government.

In details,The Hochiminh city People Committee already approved the Nguyen Duy Trinh Street Expanding Plan with the capital of 737 billion VNĐ under the BT (Build – Transfer) contract.
According to the approval decision, the route from Belt Road No.2 to 990 Street Nguyen Duy Trinh, District 9 will be upgraded and expanded under the BT contract between HCM City People Committee and ITC Group.
Meaningfully, this project aims to reduce the congestion status, the number of traffic accident as well as và meet the development requirement of urbanization alongside with the Express Way, improve local’s lives attached with a better environment conditions.
The estimated time of kicking-off and completion ranges 2018-2020.
As known in advance, in the end of 2015, International Transportation and Trading JS Company (ITC) recommended for the investment of 1.6 kilometer of Nguyen Duy Trinh Street which would be extended to 30 meter in width. Total investment would be more than 930 billion VNĐ, 700 billion of which would be for the site clearing work.
